Journey of a Lifetime
After 14 years teaching 7th-grade social studies in Harlem, I boarded a camper van on the 4th of July to spend 365 days playing golf on 365 courses in all 50 states. Along the way, I'm visiting historic and cultural sites important to the American story. Just as important, I'm playing and meeting with diverse Americans to hear about the teachers who've changed their lives and what this nation means to them.
